Makeup Policy
Students are allowed three class days to complete their required work. The lab is available either before and after school or during recess times when a computer class is in session and seats are available. Students are also able to work on Pages, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Google Apps assignments in their classrooms with classroom teacher permission.
If a student is in ISS, they are still expected to complete computer work for the day. A laptop will be provided for them to complete their assignment. If they do not have access to a laptop, they will be given three class days to complete their required work.

Late Work Policy
Work is late when it is not turned in on the due date indicated by the teacher and students have not communicated with the teacher to complete the work.
Assignments are graded “as is” based upon the work completed at the time it is due. Worksheets will lose 10% for each day that it is late. Exceptions will be made if a student has an IEP outlining a need for extended work time.
Zeros are recorded in extreme cases only. For example, if a student refuses to do an assignment or all other attempts for assignment completion have failed.

If a student grade falls below 70%, students are encouraged to come in before or after school or during recess time (if a class is in session) for additional help to work towards grade improvement.
Extra Credit
There is extra credit available with extra work completed on project assignments. Typically, this is no more than 5 points.
